Dear customer!

What you see mustn’t be what you get.
That’s life. Yours Phil.

Apple said Thursday that more than 500 native applications are now available on the iPhone’s App Store for use with the new iPhone 3G that goes on sale tomorrow.

“This is the biggest launch of my career,”

said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO.

Phil Schiller, SVP of Worldwide Marketing @ Apple:

“In its first decade, the App Store has surpassed all of our wildest expectations – from the innovative apps that developers have dreamed up, to the way customers have made apps part of their daily lives – and this is just the beginning. We could not be more proud of what developers have created and what the next 10 years have in store.”

But …

All that glitters is not gold.

Developers can buy ratings and reviews to survive in the fiercely competitive market of mobile apps.

It’s worth a look …

Hey Phil, what’s your take on this issue.

Australia? And what about Germany?

Is it because Germany is Android land?

Bugs bug you

10 09 2017

Inextricably linked with apps are small animals which most aggressive life forms are well-known from tropical areas and called BUGS. Today we have them also massively in temperate zones and they are distributed for free by Apple, Google, medium-sized companies, and individual enterprises via Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store.

A software bug is an error, flaw, failure or fault in an app that causes it to produce an incorrect or unexpected result, or to behave in unintended ways. This is a well-known problem, just replace “an app” by “a human being”.

Most of the updates we get from developers are about bugs and more or less accurately described in the App Store every time a new app version is released.

February 29th: If you consider to rent one of our great rental cars on February 29th, you should also consider to update to the latest version. Otherwise you might not find this day. :)

Oops … there was a bug in the bugfix so we fixed that bug. Sorry to bug you.

Bugs were found, bugs were fixed, the sun rose, a baby was born.

Took care of some bugs. They’ve been relocated to another app.

This week is all about our inner beauty. And by that we mean newly clothed bugs and app improvements.

Plenty of bug fixes

since Oct 2016!

Hey, the first developer which app has more bugs than lines of code. Quality control? Yeah, but not in Bugmond.

Here are the *most boring descriptions* which tell us nothing and often include off-topic information or advertisement.

Thanks for using Facebook! To make our app better for you, we bring updates to the App Store regularly. Every update of our Facebook app includes improvements for speed and reliability.

Thanks for using Word.

We regularly release updates to the app, which include great new features, as well as improvements for speed and reliability.

Did you know that with an Office 365 subscription, you can unlock the full power of Office across all of your devices? Find special offers in the app.

Hey Mr. Schiller, you shouldn’t allow that.

If you’re faced with bugs:

Please don’t use chemicals.

Your iPhone doesn’t like them.
