I took this shot before sunrise with my iPhone 6s Plus without using the flashlight. The only illumination was a normal fluorescent outdoor lighting.
Colocasia is a genus of flowering plants in the family Araceae, native to southeastern Asia and the Indian subcontinent. In the English-speaking world it’s called Elephant Ear.
Here’s the photo I took some seconds later with the iPhone’s flashlight.
The image shows that flashlights are often worthless to use. My camera setting is always Flashlight = Off because in many cases the results are much better when using just the existing illumination.
