Making Merit

Today I visited Wat Phra That Phanom again with my wife. A very special place in Thailand. It’s near to the Mekong river which is also the border between Thailand and Laos.

The Phra That Phanom Chedi is located in the Nakhon Phanom Province, Thailand. According to legend, this structure contains The Buddha’s breast bone, and as such, it is one of the most important Theravada Buddhist structures in the region.

As always I took my iPhone 6s Plus with me to take some shots of this beautiful place.

Merit is a concept considered fundamental to Buddhist ethics. It is a beneficial and protective force which accumulates as a result of good deeds, acts, or thoughts.
