$1,000 for the 8?

Barclays says

Nobody wants to buy a $1,000 iPhone.

But if I go to the German Apple Store the company offers the 7 Plus with 128GB, Black for €1,009. That converts to about $1,191 (1€ = 1.18$) and it's selling fine.

Let's see.
